Tom Delonge’s 2011 saw the release of Angels & Airwaves’ “Love, Pt. 2” album (and the corresponding feature film), his last full-length blink-182 album “Neighborhoods,” and the launch of his paranormal/extraterrestrial investigation website, Strange Times.

I don’t know if one could consider Green Day’s 2012 as counting, considering that “Uno,” “Dos” and “Tré” were conceived as an intentional triple release (and, y’know, might be their three weakest records) but Billie Joe Armstrong’s 2020 is worth mentioning, considering Green Day’s “Father of All...” came out in January, he did weekly covers on YouTube starting in February or March, which he then compiled as a solo album in October (“No Fun Mondays”), and rounded it all out with a new album by Green Day’s new-wave alter-ego The Network in December.
