I'm listening to this now for the first time and loving it. I enjoyed their latest album but had only heard "Fortune's Daughter" from the debut. The whole album is so raw and all over the place but in such a deliberate way. Curated chaos.
Really not familiar with them but listening to Only Love now. I am digging it. As a sidenote, I'm 53, and I went a long time without listening to a variety of music. I liked Minor Threat, Black Flag, Bad Brains, etc. in high school (the 80s) and then wasn't exposed to much new stuff for many years. Then I met my now-wife who played Alkaline Trio for me in 2011. I was late to the party on so many bands, but it's all new to me. I think this kinda relates to what you were saying, but I'm not sure. Thanks for sharing.
