Hello! I hope you enjoyed last week’s chat with Amy Fleisher Madden about her new photo book, NEGATIVES. Sorry to break the fourth wall here but I didn’t actually send that one out myself in real-time. I scheduled my little email robot to run it in the morning for me. (Please note: My email robot has replaced my non-union assistant. Go ahead and cancel me for it, see if I care.)
I couldn’t send it out myself because I was too busy galavanting about San Francisco for the weekend, following the Armed around from city to city like the damned Grateful Dead or something. It was a quick trip though. Just enough time to get winded climbing a bunch of hills, point at some cable cars, check out that weird winding street they got there (as made famous by its appearance in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater), get my hearing blown out possibly irreparably at the Great American Music Hall, eat a pound of beef brisket at Tommy’s Joynt, get an inexplicable stomach ache two hours later (could’ve been from anything), and take a picture of this bridge which I’d always assumed was an elaborate stage prop for the show Full House but is apparently real…
